ERIE, Pa. — The Board of Directors of St. Martin Center has appointed Michele Bagnoni as Interim Chief Executive Officer. Bagnoni will begin as interim CEO on August 4, 2026, following the departure of current Chief Executive Officer David González.
The St. Martin Center Board expressed its sincere appreciation for González's leadership and the many contributions he made during his tenure, helping strengthen the organization and advance St. Martin Center's mission of empowering Erie community members through education and support.

"David helped shape the organization for continued success, and we wish him all the best in his next chapter.”
Bagnoni has been an important member of the St. Martin Center leadership team, playing a key role in advancing the organization's fundraising, strategic communications, community partnerships, and long-term growth initiatives. Her experience and deep understanding of the organization's mission make her well-positioned to lead St. Martin Center through this transition.

Since joining St. Martin Center in 2023, Michele has served as Director of Development, overseeing fundraising, communications, grant development, marketing, and donor engagement. Prior to joining St. Martin Center, she held executive and senior leadership positions with nonprofit organizations, associations, and corporate partners, leading strategic communications, fundraising, financial management, marketing, and organizational operations. With more than 20 years of leadership experience and a longstanding commitment to community engagement, Michele is well-prepared to lead the organization during this period of transition.
