St. Martin Early Learning Center is seeking a dependable and caring Assistant Group Supervisor to support classroom teachers in providing a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children.

St. Martin Center offers up to $18/hr and FULL benefits after 60 days of hire.

Qualifications:

Candidates must meet one of the following Pennsylvania childcare qualification levels:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or related Human Services field.
• Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or related Human Services field with 30 ECE credits.
• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and minimum of 2 years of childcare experience.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 25 pounds
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license
• Must obtain required background clearances
• Must pass a physical and TB test

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Group Supervisor with implementing daily classroom activities and lesson plans.
• Supervise children to ensure safety and well-being at all times.
• Help prepare materials for educational and developmental activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Maintain open communication with parents and families.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development.
• Assist with student observations, documentation, and portfolios as required.
