Summer Help Needed!
St. Martin Early Learning Center, a STAR 4 child care center, is currently looking for summer teachers - a perfect opportunity for college students working on an Education or Human Service degree. This is a position for the months of June through August. Salary: $13.00 - $20.00 per hour (Pay is based on experience and education)
Functions:
- Assists in daily activities under the guidance of a Group Supervisor
- Helps to prepare materials for the daily group activities
- Participates in educational field trips
- Closely supervises students throughout the day, ensuring that students are never left unsupervised (Stay in Ratio)
- Maintains an open line of communication with parents and supervisors
- Performs all other duties as assigned/required
- Follows classroom lesson plans and provides both small group and large group learning activities while in a classroom
Applicant must be able to work with a variety of different age groups and be flexible to go into numerous classrooms, infant to school age.
Hours:
1 shift: 6:30a-11:30a
1 shift: 7:30a-12:30p or 8a-1p
1 shift: 11:30a-4:30p or 12p-5p
1 shift: 12:30p-5:30p
Minimum Requirements:
Must have a minimum of a high school diploma
Must be at least 18yrs old
Must be able to provide proof of at least 200/hrs. working with children
Applicant must be able to obtain all necessary clearances, physical, TB
Able to lift at least 25 pounds.
